Hacienda On The Lake is a true hidden gem! My wife and I recently had dinner here, and we were blown away by the amazing food, drinks, and service. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with a beautiful view of the lake. The margaritas were delicious, and the food was fresh and flavorful. We especially enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup and flan. The manager, Miguel, and our server Mauricio, were attentive and friendly. They made us feel welcome and ensured that we had everything we needed. Miguel clearly cares about his customers and runs a fantastic restaurant. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at Hacienda On The Lake. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal.

We were able to sit by the lake and enjoy a nice meal with fresh breeze. The restaurant was not busy as we started our meal at 1pm. The service was not fast. Each course drinks with salsa and chips, appetizers, main course all came very long apart. So be sure to plan ample time for your meal. The food was very delicious and with the view. It was a great place to spend time with friends.

Went here for lunch with my friend and the tornado salad was very fresh & yummy. It was a tad pricey for lunch in my opinion. I don't mind paying a little extra $ For top notch food but two salads & one soft drink was over $50 and the tip wasn't included!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Mexican restaurant in California, and it was an absolute delight! I ordered the fajitas, and they were incredible fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sizzling presentation was as impressive as the taste, with tender meat, crisp vegetables, and perfectly seasoned spices. The service was equally amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating a great dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with top-notch service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

What a charming restaurant! With a beautiful view of the lake and a warm, inviting atmosphere enhanced by lively Mexican music, this place is a gem. The food is fabulous, with generous portions that are sure to satisfy. The service is exceptional—our server spoke multiple languages and made the experience feel personal and welcoming. I highly recommend making the drive for a delightful family dinner. It’s well worth the detour! Forgot to say that dogs are welcomed on the terrace.

We checked out this place for some delicious Mexican food. This restaurant offers a really nice and cozy atmosphere. It is extremely clean, and the interior is beautifully and nicely decorated with vibrant colors and tasteful accents. Also, you would get a breathtaking lake view on the patio, which adds to the dining experience. The service was incredibly fast and super efficient. They bring complimentary chips and fresh salsa right after being seated, which is always a nice touch. The food was quite decent overall. I had the New York steak, and the meat was juicy, flavorful, and tender. It came with some seasoned rice and beans. The rice was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, it was a very tiny portion. The beans, however, were far too salty for my taste, and I did not enjoy them. Definitely give this place a try if you are ever in Mission Viejo and want to enjoy a meal with a relaxing lake view.
